Get ready to level up your board game skills at the IACS Board Bootcamp! It’s time to dominate the tabletop!
Whether you’re a seasoned board member or new to the game, this event is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their skills and knowledge. Speakers will include Cade Lambert, head of school at Des Moines Christian School, Tim Van Soelen, executive director of the Center for the Advancement of Christian Education (CACE) at Dordt University, and Andy Karas, attorney at Hagenow, Gustoff, Karas, and Ridgway LLP. Our expert speakers will cover a range of topics including governance best practices, school head/board president relationship, strategic planning, strategic governance and finances, legal issues, planned giving, nonprofit law, and board development and operations. Practical examples, tools, and resources will be provided. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with other board members and school leaders to gain valuable insights!
Sessions specifically for school leaders and their board presidents will occur from 1:30-5:00, all board members are invited to join for dinner at 5:15, and then all board members and school leaders will have sessions from 6:00-9:00 at each of the locations.
